Deux voix valent mieux qu’une : ‘Something About You’ par Cary Brothers & Laura Jansen

Hello Folks,

Oui, vous vous souvenez de Robert Cary Brothers (né en 1974 et originaire de Nashville)… nous l’avions déjà entendu nous chanter le titre, ‘Blue Eyes’, issu de l’album ‘Who You Are‘ (2007), et immédiatement sélectionné dans la Playlist #3… mais il en avait encore sous le pied, et il a su réitérer l’exploit de produire un autre album exceptionnel rempli de nouvelles pépites avec l’Opus ‘Under Control‘ (2010).

Devant tant de choix et après mûre réflexion, c’est la version de ‘Something About You’ (du groupe Level 42), que je voulais vous présenter aujourd’hui.

Au-delà de ses compositions et de ses arrangements ultra-mélodieux, inondés de reverb et de magie, je ne sais pas si vous aviez réalisé à quel point la voix de ce chanteur (ici en duo avec Laura Jansen, chanteuse américano-néerlandaise), était éblouissante… mais cela devient une évidence après cette performance.

La voix ne serait-elle pas le plus beau des instruments ?
