Une pépite parfaite : ‘Love’s a Stranger’ de Warhaus

Hello Folks,

Marteen Deveoldere, alias Warhaus, est un auteur-copositeur-interprète belge, ex-leader du groupe Rock Balthazar, engagé corps et âme dans une carrière en solo depuis l’année 2016, après avoir vécu déjà plusieurs vies.

Son remède face à l’ennui et les tentations, c’est l’écriture et la composition, une obsession quotidienne qui explique sa productivité qui est stabilisée à pas moins d’un album par an. Inspiré par les artistes belges les plus décalés (Arno, Deus, TC Matic,…), comme par les plus grandes stars du Rock & Folk, de Leonard Cohen à Bob Dylan, il est aussi un proche ami du talentueux chanteur Tamino, et beaucoup voient en lui un petit rien de Nick Cave.

En 2017, il sort son 2nd album, ‘Warhaus’, créé lors d’un voyage au Kirghizistan, où vous retrouverez la pépite du jour : ‘Love’s a Stranger’… une chanson à savourer jusqu’à la dernière note, qu’il chante en duo avec sa compagne de l’époque, la chanteuse Sylvie Kreusch.
